I’m a sucker for weird stuff like that. There was a leech jar, masonic foundation stones, a scarificator, Sir Thomas Brisbane’s meerschaum pipe, a taxidermied dog used to convict a man of murder, a petrol container used to bomb the Whiskey-a-Go-Go, a tied up linen rope used to escape prison, and loads of other stuff.

They didn’t go the Fortean route, but it’s all very interesting none the less. Well worth the trip. It’s free too, like all good museums should be.
